Mood Drabble For open_on_sunday 02/15/04 #4

This week's challenge: write a drabble based on one of the livejournal moods.

Buffy, BtVS Season 5 - Crush

Crushed – In His Face
Buffy, BtVS Season 5 – Crush

The Slayer couldn’t believe the twists and turns her life had taken over the years. Her true love had been a 240 year old Vampire. One moment of passion and the very devil, himself was unleashed. Her spirit was crushed, and hadn’t fully recovered yet.

Tonight was a topper. Spike. Faking a stake-out, trailing vampires she knew weren’t the ones she’d been seeking. Drusilla knocking her out; Spike chaining them both in his crypt. Proclaiming his love for her.

Buffy thought she had the corner on crushed hearts, until she saw Spike slam up against the barrier at her threshold.

It was fab, Sweetie, but damn...

....*big endless miserable flood of tears*...

....You're not doing a lot to cheer me up are you??????????

Now I'll go to bed thinking of the look on his poor little face.

I think that means job well done.

Re:
Hey girl - what with all that delightful news, it seems as if my muse is a bit angsty, as well. So - not really all blood and peaches. Glad you liked, tho. So much. Makes me happy.

He wasn't expecting it, and it just broke his heart to pieces when he got it. And mine went with his.
**sniffs** Glad you enjoyed.

Awww, that was the moment I fell in love with Spike. I just couldn't get that look out of my mind. So, sad, but at the same time, so sweet.

Thanks.

Re:
For me, it was love at first sight, but sealed when he crashed through the school window and stood there with his gang in School Hard! And each show sealed my fate just a little bit more.

Wow luv, tsk tsk...think it was love at first sight for me too. Ya know from the moment Spike plowed through the "Welcome to Sunnydale" sign, crashed in on the Annointed one, and strolled down the halls of Sunnydale High talking about, "Slaaaaaaayer here kitty, kitty..." I fell in love with him.

And this little piece had me heart from the moment my eyes landed on it. Well done, luv. :) *hugs*

Re:
Yes, absolutely. That whole kitty, kitty line is what really drew me into him. That and the whole, "What happens Saturday?" "I kill you." Oh god, I just LOVED that. Hee! :)

You're more than welcome, I think it's important to let writer's know whether you liked it or not and why in a cronstructive way that is, because I think it helps them to know what they need to do, what they want to do and it also builds up confidence and skills. :)
