Ooooh, Meme!

Been meaning to do this myself, but am actually borrowing it from __tiana__, who seems to have beaten me to it:

We've all seen the "10 Way You Know Something Was Written By _____" meme, right?

Well, this is a little different. Comment and tell me a way (or more than one) you know that I wrote a fic. I think this would be very interesting, so if you have a chance, let me know! :)

Okay - I did expect that one. And my very first comment, too. **grins** How about something just a teensy bit more critical? Hmmm? Thank you for playing.

Sorry, honey, I think I have only read one of your stories so far.

Hmmm! this is a tricky one as I think your writing style has changed quite substantially since the earlier material of yours that I read. You used to have a habit of precising events in the show and replaying them as people's thought processes. I haven't seen that one in a long while.

I think I could probably recognize your work from the way you write children though. They show a peculiar mixture of personal experience, humour, warmth and a fair dollop of 'Awwww!' without actually descending into sentiment. However, unless you promise to put children into all your work that one is of limited utility.

I agree with you, my style (such as it is) has changed quite a bit since my humble beginnings. As for the children... thank you. I try to keep them more realistic than cutesy, but some adorableness is inherent.

Nope - can't promise to use kiddies in every story... just seems to be that there are a lot of stories I want to tell with children in them. What can I say? It's a weakness. I love baby/kid fic. **beams** Thanks for taking the time to comment.
