Research Party!

Hey, all! My dearest willa_writes and I are working on a super sekrit project right now, and we need some very special source materials:

Scripts from:

- Guys and Dolls (Movie musical preferred, Broadway play okay)

- What Dreams May Come (Robin Williams movie)

It's next to impossible to find such things. I've tried the whole Google number, and Amazon.com. No such luck.

If anyone knows where they can lay their hands on a script, or can point us in the right direction, we'd be most grateful.

**muchas smooches**

If I'm not mistaken, scripts for movies are fairly difficult to come by. They show up in movie memorabillia shops, and Hollywood script shops.

The script for Guys and Dolls can be had. You need to go to a theatrical bookstore (online). I wish I could remember the name of the one I used to frequent. But they'll have scripts for practically every play that's ever been produced professionally -- at a fairly reasonable price. (The ones I bought cost about $12-15.)

The old standards like Guys and Dolls are always available.

Do a Google search for "theatrical scripts" and you'll get a good number of sources.

Try the largest library in your area and ask them to do an inter-library search for you. If they have access to OCLC (they will know what that is) they should be able to locate a copy.

What Dreams May Come is an original novel by Richard Matheson and very much worth reading.
